This is a true family cruiser with accommodation that challenges many boats much larger. The lifting keel allows creek crawling and yet good to wind performance when needed and two bilge keel forms ease drying out. Full standing headroom below and a clever 4 berth layout to suit family cruising. Generous sized cockpit and storage and a 20hp Yanmar diesel with three bladed prop make the C26 a great all round sailing cruiser

Construction

Hand laid GRP hull, deck and interior mouldings.
Decks are Off White with optional 2 tone non slip colours in grey or parchment.
Standard hull colours are any combination - Off White, Dark Blue and Dark Green with contrasting waterline.
Hull and deck joint is by way of a 'biscuit tin' joint with GRP internal bonding.
External hard wood rubbing bands.
The Hull is complete with moulded mini bilge keels and a galvanised steel lifting centre plate.
GRP rudder with stainless steel hangings and tiller hood.
Wooden tiller.

6 Stainless steel mooring cleats.
Pivoting bow sprit with stainless stem and tack fittings.
Strong stainless steel tabernacle.
Triple opening elliptical port light into cabin space.

Sails, Spars and Rigging

The main mast and spars are from Sitka Spruce as standard.
The standing rigging is in 1 x 19 stainless wire and all bespoke rigging fittings are in stainless steel.
Sails are available in dark tan or cream and include mainsail, jib & Staysail.
Furlex reefing spars.
All associated ropes and blocks.
