Description

Black sheep is a rare example of the very popular Cornish Crabber Pilot Cutter . She was finished to a very high specification with bronze fittings throughout and a teak deck. Below deck everything is hardwood giving her the feeling of a true gentlemen's yacht.
Her hull and spares were laid up in Cornwall and from there she was sent to germany to be fitted out , hence the high specification . She has been stored undercover for most of her life and was latterly owned by a classic yacht restorer in Holland . I bought her in 2019 before the brexit vat rules changed and sailed her back to wales . In recent years she has been a familiar sight on the west coast of Scotland , where i have sailed her mainly singlehanded . I have carried out some improvements , listed below .

Other features include a self feathering prop , a taylor's parrafin stove , a new 200lt water tank , which feeds the bronze hand pumps in the heads and the galley .
She is currently under cover ,on the hard at the Tighnabruaich boat yard Argyll and Bute .
