Description

The Cornish Crabber 17 is a very well built gaff rigged day sailer with lovely traditional lines. Tomkat is presented in beautiful condition and is fully equipped for day sailing or extended coastal cruising. Built in 1997 she comes with a trailer, outboard and many extras.
All woodwork, mast, spars and bowsprit are in excellent condition. The hull has been polished and she is stored under cover when not in use.
Sails are in good condition and a new ultra violet strip has been fitted to the furling jib.
All halyards, warps and reefing lines also are in excellent condition.
There is accommodation for two and the cabin has been adapted so that a memory foam mattress can be set up for one or two people - there is an over boom cover to afford extra protection if needed.
All lockers have been painted in the last year and provide ample storage.
The outboard is a Mariner four stroke 4HP and has been very little used - serviced 2025. It fits in a central outboard well and has a remote fuel tank with new fuel pipe.
The Bramber Trailer is single axel, break back and has been fully modified to include : new winch line, new rollers, new fresh water flushing system for the brakes, new bearings, new brake cables , new brakes and new rubber bow snubber.
Extras include : sculling rowlock and oar, galley box and camping stove, window blinds, air horn, bivvy loo toilet, fenders, small tender that can be stored in the forward locker, 2 anchors CQR and Danforth and a laminated instruction book from Cornish Crabbers giving full rigging and sailing information.
